This was my first digital camera. My daughter has a Kodak Easy Share camera and I've experimented with it a bit, but I wanted my own simple camera. After some research and comparisons, I settled on I chose the Finepix A345. This camera has many features but it was easy to learn how to use it. I had to get used to mastering the autofocus function. Some of my shots became blurry when the camera couldn't focus automatically. If you are too close to the subject or not holding the camera steady the autofocus will flash!a warning meaning autofocus is not possible. Most of my prints come out great, very sharp and with great colour.I have this camera Took it to a concert and was very happy with the optical zoom function, I got closer shots that I could have gotten with my film camera to. I used Action mode and got some decent shots considering how far back our seats are. I also took this camera with me to the aquarium on vacation and was very satisfied with the result of my prints. I also like the size of this camera. It's small, but not too small. I also like the large LCD screen. The price was right too. Revain cost about $20 less than Target or Best Buy. I also bought a 128MB XD card. The included 16MB card holds approximately 20 images. My only complaint about this camera is that I couldn't download the software correctly onto my home computer. I have Windows XP and from what I've read in other Fuji camera reviews, sometimes the software fails to download without contacting tech support. I just haven't found the time to do it yet, so I'm going to work to upload the photos. It works great, so I don't even have to worry about the software. I gave this camera 4 stars because for the most part I am happy with this camera. However, this is my first digital camera, so I have no comparison. But for an entry-level camera, I think it's great.
