I really wanted to love this whole set and the packaging it comes in certainly makes it an attractive baby gift but we don't get enough use of the full set to justify the higher price. Label. For my family and our 1 year old, the best part of this set is the mug. It's a great size and shape for his mouth and hands, and the slightly transparent design was very helpful when we were trying to teach him how to use an open cup. This feature alone makes us think about buying another mug since we use it so often. The plate is quite large and its shape makes it easy to collect food. The fork and spoon heads are too big for him to use comfortably. We have other paraphernalia that fit his mouth much more naturally. They might work better when he's a little older, but the rounded fork design feels like it was made for younger kids, so it might still not make much sense. The bib was the biggest disappointment with the set as we have other silicone bibs with cup rims to catch food and I really love them. This bib is very stiff and doesn't require much effort so when eating it hits the high chair causing the beads to rub and irritate his neck. Removed after a day of use. Overall, while this is an aesthetically pleasing set, the full set doesn't see much use in our home and you can definitely find better ones for the price. I expect the best quality from Babybjorn's typically exceptional design and manufacture.
