Review on πŸ‘“ VUF-110 Wearable Display by Vufine by Narendra Thapa

I found it a great tool to save time while working.

Bought as a trial. I'm an illustrator/artist working with photography or 3D modeling software. I have found this to be a great tool to save time at work. I usually have a computer with my references to the side and my entire canvas in front of me. It's frustrating sometimes that I have to turn my head so many times to look at a link and when I get back to my work I've lost the specific point I was focusing on. The beauty of the vufine display is that I can fix my gaze exactly where I'm working and then just focus on the reference. I get it pretty quick and it keeps my neck from tiring! One of the included mounts allows you to position it anywhere you like, up/down/left/right, and it helps with comfort and the position I'm sitting in (I can look to the side and up for a reference look, or look up at a canvas and down to find a reference) I haven't had a chance to use it for sculpture, but I see it as a great benefit. Also, when I'm drawing comics, being able to read script/character descriptions while I'm drawing on the page is a really nice feature. This gave me the idea to use it as I sing awkward songs at work to annoy my girlfriend. I can find any Chumbawamba song and read the lyrics while I dance. Maybe it would be good for actors in rehearsals or in musicals? It's nice that non-prescription glasses are included in the kit, but they're quite small. I have a small head and they are quite snug.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
