The camera is ideal for reportage shots where speed and focusing accuracy are most important. Perfect ergonomics allows you to work with the settings with your eyes closed. 5D MarkII is not so convenient in this regard. If compared with 5D MarkII, then these are initially technically different cameras, those who need a 35mm matrix will not look at the seven, and those who need 60 frames video will not fit 5D. If in the future they make 7D with a full-size matrix, then this will be the best Canon :-)
