Thermos Logo Smear

I've only had this mug for a few weeks and use it alternately with my Yeti. Unfortunately, the logo gets very dirty (I only wash it by hand, for the record). I first noticed this when I went out on a hot/sultry day and carried a mug - apparently with my hand on the logo - and it started to smear and get white paint on my hand/fingers. The logo doesn't feel coated like the body of the mug (it feels sticky), and that could be an issue - it needs to be "powdered" to make it less prone to smearing. On the plus side, the mug is actually waterproof and keeps drinks cold; While the silver band at the top sweats a bit, the rest of the mug doesn't. I even dropped a mug on the concrete and had no issues other than barely noticeable (I mean barely noticeable) scratches. I've also used both the screw top and straw versions - both work well. It comes with two straws which was nice. The hole is wide enough to fit ice in and the color is great too! The downsides are lubrication (obviously) and also the grip on the straw top version. The black plastic edges are a bit sharp, which makes the mug uncomfortable to hold, especially when you're sticking your fingers through the hole in the black lid (the bottom edge is the sharper of the two, at least on my mug). I'm still debating whether to keep it or not. I could just erase the logo entirely so I don't have an unexpected color on my fingers when I touch the mug. Just take a look!
