Not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

Perhaps the fact is that I have already come across ears made in china, although I don’t think that the country of production affects the sound in this way. If you need to catch jambs in a recording, this is a great option, but I do not recommend it for music. Although, probably, they sound better than household headphones of common brands, but the same Bayers (even the 440th and even more so the 770/990th) merge. Compared to the comparable Senchs 558 or 598, the Senhs have better bass, the AKG 240 has better detail.

Pros

Very comfortable design, lightweight, large ear pads, replaceable cord, excellent detail even at difficult moments

Cons

Sound: 1. The mids are pulled up (or the treble/bass is overwhelmed), which gives high clarity (including extraneous noise on the recording is perfectly audible) - it plays mid-frequency instruments more or less well, but the sound is so-so on vocals and basses. 2. There is no bass depth (lowest frequencies) at all, which greatly changes the perception of classics and acoustic recordings - it seems that the note itself is accurately conveyed, but there is no lower part of the instrument's timbre. 3. For films, accordingly, there is also not enough bass - conversations are excellent, explosions, engine noise, etc. - flat, like from TV speakers.
