Audiophile amateur. I have a lot of headphones, earphones, DACs, amplifiers. It's a bad habit, but my problem is enjoying it. So, picked up these little fellas after the last sale, bought an aftermarket cable. Simple headphones, the assembly is good. Connected and plugged in a new cable. They're smaller than a couple of headphones I own and are comfortable, so no complaints. They are light. I started listening by plugging in a Rubert Neve headphone amp and listening to a standard 320kHz stream. The headphones sound warm. There are details. Good deep bass but lacks brilliance but for the money it does. I decided to go to Radio Paradise and listen to the Flac stream. Shine and detail appeared as I suspected. I've been listening to several HD streams (16/44.1) and it's great. Good lows, nothing superfluous, mids up front and highs shine. Great details and great front mids. Well balanced. They sound fantastic with quality stream. So overall they are very insightful, as you would expect from studio IEMs. I think the sound quality is fantastic for the price. Very important.
