Pain in the royal back when soldering, but they get the job done and won't melt or warp from the heat of soldering.

Annoying when soldering, but they do the job and don't melt or warp from the heat of soldering. I poured two part epoxy into the cable opening after closing to keep it from falling apart, then shrunk it and it kept working. I used it to make my own Hifiman HE400i/s and Hifiman Supermini DAP balanced headphone cable. Did the job and cost a few percent of what the manufacturer's cable sells for.
