The bags do NOT stand the test of time and are air and frost permeable.

These bags are very convenient to use, but do not delay. I've been making my own bags out of long rolls for many years, so I was glad to find them. Sealed a bunch of meat during the pandemic, so happy. Fast forward 2 months. Each of these pouches contain ice/freezer compartment. Items too big for these bags and I had to reseal them the old way, making my own from a large roll, still perfectly sealed, no air or frost inside. Unfortunately I have to give these bags a big guess that they can be used for short term storage.
