Light, silky and pleasantly warm.
Very soft, silky and beautiful. It's lightweight, but alpaca is said to offer a higher warmth-to-weight ratio than wool, so I'm hoping that's true. However, it doesn't offer the same warmth as a heavy or even mid-weight jacket (in my opinion). My husband is wheelchair bound so in our experience it is much easier to put on and take off a poncho or cape.
