I struggled with the lacing forever before coming to the conclusion that I had to put it on and have someone lace me into it. I have zero patience for that. I knew it would need length alteration and planned on it; however, the dress is so very heavy that even if i got the length altered correctly, I knew it would be far too heavy to dance in, which was the intended purpose; a Christmas ball gown to dance in. Truly lovely thick fabric. It looked fantastic on, emphasizing perfectly bust, waist and flared skirt but again, far too heavy. Seller was wonderful in accepting the return and refunding promptly.
