Excellent emergency light. Dimensions: 3.625 inches in diameter and 1.31 inches high. The weight (with batteries installed) is 4.9 ounces. The device uses 3 AAA batteries. The battery compartment can be accessed by loosening the two Phillips screws (you will also need to press/pry the two mini-latches). The device has a round hook on the side and a J hook on the back. There is a strong magnet on the back. The device is orange. There are 12 LEDs evenly spaced around the device as well as 3 LEDs on the top of the device. The 3 LEDs on the top are good as a flashlight. The built-in power/function switch controls all the different modes. Repeatedly pressing takes you to the desired mode. The 12 LEDs are bright enough, and different patterns (some are glowing and some are flashing) attract people's attention. I bought 6 lamps and they came in a neat little bag that fits all 6 units. I like it when my car is needed in an emergency. The device is made of rubber plastic, which also helps it stay in place. Battery life depends on the mode the device is in.
