These containers have a transparent window so you can easily see what is packed inside the container. There's a small transparent sleeve that you can stick a label in to show the contents, but it's right next to the transparent window in the container - that seems to be the point of the window. It's good to have a place to mark the container, but it also needs to be on the side of the handle so the container is recognizable if you store it that way. I've used these bins extensively to organize all sorts of our stuff and they've held up. much better than many other brands I have tested. The handles stayed intact, the zippers didn't come undone, the windows didn't separate from the main fabric of the bag. They stack pretty well and the price is reasonable.
