If you're just buying it for casual gaming, this is an excellent monitor. However, if you're trying to use this for competitive, fast-paced gaming, I'd suggest spending a little more for a better monitor. Motion blur on this monitor made the 165Hz refresh rate look like it was running at half speed. And the stand is just awful, there are no options other than tilt. Also, the panel can get very dim on certain settings, so be careful if you're in a brightly lit room.
