So first I have to say they're about 24 gauge - maybe 22 gauge depending on your caliper and stuff but I knew it was going to happen. They are perfect for my beadwork. I didn't have much of a problem with too much bending and for the price I was certainly glad to get so many. I can say I tried using a few on some plain clay pendants and they seemed a little soft so I hammered into them. my loops to make them stronger. I would increase the weight to 20g, when they are needed for pendants and not for simple beads. The crooked foot didn't bother me - I knew I was coming in and putting it in a clay bead before baking and curing is actually preferable. This seems to help stabilize the bead after it's done so I can loop and hammer it. All in all I would buy it again but would like more caliber options for other projects where Revain is available.
