To be honest we didn't like buying another product to install in our bassinet which we thought was already a big purchase. However, I think it all depends on how your child has adjusted to the HALO cradle. Our little boy didn't really like sleeping in it, so he slept in the same bed with us several times. I KNOW it's bad. Either way, these inserts from mysnnuggly have definitely been a life saver for us as our little one is sleeping much better now and is finally off of our bed or on top of me. use it longer but i think its size was well thought out to make the baby feel like being hugged. We especially like the bumpers on the sides. It looks very comfortable and really seems to hold it in place. This really makes it snuggle up to the baby and we feel completely secure when our baby sleeps in it. That's my five cents. I hope this helps, but for us it has been life changing. If we had known about this insole earlier, we would have bought it from the start. FINALLY WE'RE SLEEPING NOW.
