My annual weigh-in

was corrupted. I wanted to honestly review this product before writing my opinion. The reviews were so negative that I didn't want to jump to conclusions. I gave it a year and used it regularly. Verdict: I really wish I could have spent a little more for something more reliable. I bought it very cheap as the price was already low and I had some bonus points. It's really not worth the inconvenience. The player keeps crashing and I have to unplug the player from the entertainment center, unplug it, and then plug it back in. For some games it won't read data from the remote and won't let me access the DVD's main menu. It usually takes a few tries for this to happen when I unplug and plug the drive in again or eject and reinsert it. In most cases, this helps regularly. I really want to be optimistic and say that this player, despite its shortcomings, serves the main purpose. But the fact is that this player is low-quality junk that will captivate you with its price and over time will create a sense of remorse in the buyer.
