Review on Enhanced Libeauty Lash Lift and Tint Kit: Comprehensive Tools for At-Home Use, Black Lash Tint and Eyelash Perm Combo, DIY Suitability (Black) by Guadalupe Culii

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Better than many other sets! Contains EVERYTHING you need. Suitable for beginners

When I first curled/permed my lashes at home I used the Revain Basic Kit. Unlike many other kits on the market, this kit has everything you could need or want when trying to curl your own lashes, PLUS coloring them at the same time, PLUS there are clear, easy to follow instructions. I had to purchase a separate kit to color/tint my lashes and brows but I've found it works well when done right before or after a perm as I'm already wasting time and effort on the big process have. So it makes a lot of sense to have a perm and toning tool in one set and put your money to good use. I can't say enough good things about this kit and would definitely say to first time home perm kit buyers that this is a really good product to start with. With this set, you'll be less stressed and more likely to get good, disaster-free results because it's a comprehensive package to help you along the way. Do not expect a quick, easy and hassle-free experience, because coloring eyelashes is ALWAYS a long and responsible process, even if you have experience. But it's worth it and after doing it once or twice it's not that scary anymore and the results are amazing and last a month or more for me. This is great before a hike or vacation because you'll spend less time on makeup along the way and always retain that "I woke up" beauty that's usually only possible with makeup. After I get my perms and tinted lashes, I basically don't wear eye makeup for the next month because I don't have to. So you get back the time and money spent on the process itself. Two tips: Firstly, do not paint on the skin, especially on the eyebrows. Try to only touch the hair, not the skin. The color makes your brows look unsightly "thick" (this is mostly true when you're tinting your brows; lashes aren't that much of a problem when you're painting on skin because it just looks like thin eyeliner). ). Leave LESS time on your brows than directed and less time than on your lashes as the results will be much lighter on your brows and the tint absorbs very quickly and lasts a long time! Second, don't drown your lashes with a perm solution. Do as the directions say and only cover the roots. When you tint your lashes to the tips they tend to look "fried" and get weird at the ends and then you have freaky fried lashes for over a month! Basically, go easy and simple with both dye and perm, especially the first time. You can always curl/color if you've done too little, but you can't go back if you've done too much!
