Make sure your adapter supports data transfer
The seller should be clearer but this cable is for power only. I needed an adapter to connect my Chromebook to my HDMI TV. How late it's powering my Chromebook and can't transfer data. Although the box itself says audio and video. Then again I have a little disclaimer there that says there is no data transfer. pain in the ass
