I really like this device with one small exception. The very first pop from the 5 TBSPs worked out great on her recommendation. Since then, however, the kernels have popped out of the cotton. To prevent the top from opening prematurely and forcing the grains to stay inside, I inserted an *but* open-topped poptop and covered it with the silicone baking lid used to cover bowls when they are be protected from splashes in the microwave. Works great. Pops without a single popcorn or kernel outside of the poptop. Another tip; I dusted off the flavor that obviously wasn't sticking to the dry popcorn, so I used butter flavored cooking spray and sprayed the popcorn while it was still wet and sprinkled on the flavor. The most exquisite.
