We purchased 4 pairs of these forehead protectors so family members could take a concealed carry course in Florida that also includes interior photography. These glasses are very comfortable and offer a large field of vision. I grew up in the olden days before I wore ear defenders and goggles. I've never had eye damage, but my hearing has already decreased by 60%. Coincidentally, the first time I put them on, I realized how important they are. They passed the "First Hit" test when a .380 round leapt over my youngest daughter's shoulder and hit me squarely in the right lens of my Howard Leight glasses. There is no better testimony than this personal experience. No damage, no scratches on the glasses, but new respect from me for $11 glasses. Highly recommended!
