Good thing I didn't order the small baskets I was considering at first. I'm sure these are standard liter baskets, but I was imagining a larger basket. I've used them on countertops for essentials (hand sanitizer, masks, bug spray, etc.). They worked but if they were smaller I would have to exchange them. However, the included baskets are light colored natural raw wood. They take white spray paint well and were fairly durable and smooth. The brackets that hold it together have been tightly compressed so you don't have to worry about splinters or cuts when handling it. Recommend this. We also recommend pulling out the ruler before ordering to ensure you choose the correct size.
