Review on Phanteks PH EC500ATG_BK01 Full Metal Mid Tower Tempered by Greg Roberts

I've had this case for a few weeks now and appreciate the quality and reliability. The 2 included fans are very good for stock fans. They are a hair's breadth in terms of performance and smoothness compared to the Arctic fans I replaced them with (I have 5 packs of Arctic fans so I only use them now, but I keep the stock Phanteks fans for another build or for friends who need them). I spent many hours researching cases and ended up mostly arguing between this one (or its RGB variant) and the o11 dynamic. To be honest I was tempted by the o11 for its looks but the Phanteks P500A seems to be better for airflow/temp and a lot cheaper. I'm satisfied with the quality, the space behind the case for cable management and the sober look. I don't think you're wrong. No need to replace standard fans, just add more fans when you need them. In my case (no pun intended) I replaced the fans with an Arctic P14 because I ordered a 5-pack and got an AIO Arctic 280 water-cooled CPU.
