My 10 year old daughter is very into overalls this year and her favorite color is coral. When we saw this one I bought it because the brand is rather too reliable and dependable is The price was really good. It came out of the bag very wrinkled so I gently washed it to smooth it out which caused most of the silver threads to come out and now they are all over the jumpsuit. It's very itchy too, but she liked it so much that she still wanted to wear it to school.The main issue wasn't the quality but the construction of the jumpsuit.Something like shorts with an elastic waistband, a football neckline to expose her lower back and the Half-closure top with buttons at back..back, can't remember how many buttons but there are a lot of them and I buttoned them up yesterday when she was going to school finished. I thought of nothing (except the unruly silver threads and the general itch) as she got on the bus and headed to school. When I met her at the bus stop later that day, she was walking quite oddly and seemed in a hurry to get inside. It turns out that this thing absolutely CANNOT be removed by the person wearing it due to the way it attaches at the back. Should I have thought about that as I (as I often do) buttoned it up to school that morning? Yes of course. But is it normal for a 10-year-old girl's clothes to be cut in such a way that the child cannot urinate unaided? but when we tried it in the bathroom a few minutes later, I saw that it was impossible to do it without pissing all over her clothes. While my 12-year-old son doesn't even like wearing lace-up shoes (prefers velcro), my daughter is great with complicated clothes. However, this takes on the fact that yesterday at school she literally couldn't even go to the bathroom without asking her teacher or friends for help, which she doesn't seem interested in doing. I rarely write negative reviews but I hope it means no other kid is going through this. What a mess.
