I was a little carried away with the shredding when I first got it. So I had to wait several times for it to cool down. But now that I actually use it a lot, I knew I would. That's great. It sits next to my desk and is small enough that I only have to throw out torn papers twice a month. If you need to shred a lot of documents, I do NOT suggest this. It fills up fast (I found out the first time I had to clean out 2 filing cabinets with old documents). Otherwise it was a great purchase for me!
