Review on πŸ“· Capture Camera Clip V3 with Plate by Peak Design by Mike Pearson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I didn't know I needed it until I tried it. Now I can't live without it.

Fanf*#@ingtastic. i love this shop To be honest, I stumbled across a review of this thing during my YouTube binge, which I'll admit is common and ends up costing me more money. Boouuu, I digress. Everything was worth it this time. This plate is incredibly thin. It fits perfectly with my camera (Olympus omd-em1). The latch itself? Excellent. It's as secure as it gets, and I can comfortably hang my camera and larger lens on it. Building materials are first class. Handling, top class. Functionality is top notch. This plate is compatible with Arca Swiss so it works with all my tripods. I beat it up and it stays. One thing borne out by other reviews, with a larger strap you might need to stack it up. will it do? Of course. That is beautiful? Depends on who's asking. Other than that, the only thing I have, and it's a mixed bag, is that there is no protective tab on the plate or an option for a protective tab screw for Arca Swiss heads. I have to be doubly careful that my tripod is not aligned in a way that it could accidentally slip out and that the shell is secure. But if it had that tab, it wouldn't sit as well on my desk. To be honest I love it and I use it all the time.
