Just a guess - the original design scheme was minimally copied - this manufacturer tried to reproduce the same good 3 driver or 5 driver headphones, the design is either American or European ( BUT VERY MAY BE FROM China) --- The reproduction has not been well tolerated. Something is missing somewhere. That's what I think is missing; the entire frequency range. It all sounded muffled with high frequency harshness, leading me to believe that the crossover wiring, be it contact pads or very small solder points, is faulty. I would like to know which headphones in this price range really do justice to the $300-400 title. Branded versions of the headphones with triple, quad and dual drivers. I don't want to return anything but this headset was defective (for me), one side arrived very muffled - more than the best working side. Or the milliohm math is wrong, meaning the wrong resistors and components are used/added. Because it's muted. I would buy again once this situation is resolved and there are more non-empty reviews.
