Not only can they be hung on a regular clothes rail, but also on a wire shelf rail. This actually works better because you can hang it in the middle of the shelf, saving you hanging space. The device is strong enough yet breathable fabric (good in FL) and flexible to be very practical. LOVE shoes from the closet floor!
