These may or may not be Dell OEM chargers. Mine works with my Dell laptop with no errors, but it is a defective unit. When the device is plugged in but not charging, the plug should glow. Mine appears and disappears spasmodically. Connected to the device, it remains solid. I only use it as a reserve.
