I used it to connect a 4K UHD streaming box to my 4K TV and up to 4K surround sound receiver. I used the same company's previous "18GB AVR dongle" to do the same thing in the living room. After switching to a 4K TV in the bedroom, I wanted to do the same. I noticed the AVR Key 18GB was discontinued and replaced with this model so I bought it. The AVR key was a great product, but this new product is so much more! It can separate HDMI audio and video, so you can send them to different devices, such as The HDMI outputs, which can be switched between two HDMI inputs, allow you to split the signal between two TVs, sending 4K to one and HDTV to the other. To be fair, this all-in-one HDMI troubleshooter is the HDMI/AV equivalent of a Swiss Army knife. Fantastic unique product!
