The case seems solid enough but be aware that it only covers the back and sides; The screen protector is just a sheet of plastic that sticks on (and the little bubbles are difficult to remove!). For my use it's ok. I use products very sparingly. If you are looking for some serious screen protection you can check out the much more expensive Otterbox which I also own and it offers fantastic protection. I really like the IDWELL clear case as I bought a cool metallic red iPod and didn't want to cover it up. This case is also very thin and doesn't add much bulk to the iPod.
