The fabric is very cheap but I was expecting $24. The lace bodice is free of ties at the bottom, which is an important finishing touch. The lace bodice completes the tulle cut. In the picture, the bottom of the dress is lilac, not lilac, but it's actually white tulle as well. I expected the dress to be made like this. I'm going to add a satin ribbon at the bottom of the bodice along with sequins because every princess wants glitter. It is important to note that the cancan offered with this additional item is too large for a dress. To compensate for this I will also add about 4 inches of lining to the skirt for extra width. I have found in the past that this material works great with fabric glue rather than sewing as the material wears out a lot when cutting. I will be hand stitching the satin on the bottom of the bodice. I am giving you this information as a hint to make this $24 dress look like a $500 dress. My overall score is 3 because the dress is the same color and shape as posted but it is NOT the same dress. It is also very important to note that you MUST have a crinoline for this dress to work. This is a single piece of very thin material and without it it will be completely flat.
