Review on πŸ‘œ Matrix System Tool Tote Bag for BLACK+DECKER, Wide-Mouth (BDCMTSB) - 21 Inch by Joe Nieves

Ideal for a chainsaw with slight modification

I ordered this bag not to use as a standard tool bag but to turn it into a bag to store my chainsaw. It is less bulky than a plastic chainsaw box. The plastic bottom catches any dripping oil from the bar, I lined it with absorbent rags. This also prevents the saw from rolling in the back of the truck. I took a small measurement and then took a Soler flat iron with a cutting tip to remove a small piece from the end to allow the sleeve to slide easily. Simultaneously burn the edges of the fabric to keep them from fraying. It fits my Kobalt 14" 40 volt saw perfectly and the main compartment has enough room for a quart of bar oil, an extra battery, charger and chain sharpener. I have several sets of ear tips and a pair of gloves. Outside pocket with flap. The webbing used for the pens appears to be polypropylene which doesn't stand up to the sun or being out in the phoenix heat for long periods of time, if this works well I might buy a higher quality case to do the same, you can easily too secure with a shoulder strap while in the back of a truck So far, it's good
