Appearance = 10 Quality of materials and workmanship = 7.5 The leather in particular is thin and delicate to the touch, especially compared to the leather of military boots. I assume glued leather will crack and peel after a while, but I could be wrong. (I bought black leather Chelsea sneakers.) Comfort = 8 * Shoes lost points for comfort because they didn't fit. I wear shoe size 13, but actually have 12.5. Most of the shoes I wear always have plenty of legroom, but they're a little tight at my already small 13 feet. Buy a size up if you can (minus our size 13). Price = 2. I wouldn't pay more than $60 for these shoes. I waited for the price to drop. (Pros for 13s, since size 13 shoes don't sell out as quickly and don't sell as much, so they get discounts.)
