FiveStar HDTV Antenna Working

I live on the west coast of Florida. There are several TV stations about thirty miles from my home. They appear to be grouped side by side. I tried four other antennas and none of them gave any of these transmitters. I chose an external antenna. I chose this one because it was rated for 150 miles. My house stands on ground that is about 40 feet above sea level. This is a two storey house. The antenna is about a foot above the rooftop. From what I understand the antenna is between 70 and 75 feet above sea level. The level of the ground around me rises to sixty feet above sea level. There are thousands of trees around it. I had little hope that this device would work, but I decided to take a chance. With the help of the internet and a compass, I found the direction I needed to point the antenna at the TV channels. I was amazed that my TV can receive 70 channels. These channels included ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and PBS. The picture quality is excellent. The quality is the same or even better than the cable I had. My cable bill was nearly $200 a month. I haven't tried the 360 degree rotor so I can't comment on it. I use the cable splitter that comes with the kit and it works. Installation instructions should not be supplied with the correct grounding of the antenna. Summer thunderstorms in Florida have thousands of lightning strikes per hour.
