I mainly use this rope for hiking which I take once or twice a year for 4-5 days. holding tarps, attaching poles, attaching guy lines to tents, etc. It's been a year and a half since I bought it and the rope is still holding up (honestly I forgot to write a review). I have the same rope in several other colors, one of which I am cutting into smaller pieces to use specifically for tarps to cover a 12 x 12 foot canopy on a rainy day. Even after a breakdown they keep 100% normal. Not sure how they'll handle the tougher challenges, but they miraculously survived thunderstorms and high winds on one particular hike.
