I wish these stools were more comfortable. The seat is too small to accommodate a person with a normal sized "ass". Also, I couldn't find a higher-back metal bar stool (which I wanted) without a wooden seat (which I didn't want). I would never recommend a low back for a seat because it's not comfortable to lie on, so there may be no back at all. Another issue was that both stools had small scratches on the underside of two legs - not too noticeable but nonetheless shouldn't be there. If it wasn't for the return issue, I probably would have done just that.
