Review on 💦 AGPTEK Aluminum Mist Maker Fogger for Water Fountain, Pond, Rockery, Fish Tank, Vase, Birdbath by Prince Fratto

We have learned a few things about this product since purchasing it. First, it only works within 1-3 inches of the water surface. This means that for continuous operation, it must either be used in a very large body of water and placed on an elevated surface, or it must float. to keep the Mister a reasonable distance from the surface as the water evaporates and sinks I have used this Mister as an ultrasonic humidifier in our apartment, the Mister sits in a 5 gallon bucket of water which has a daily water level change. I originally made the float out of Solo cups and some foam, and there is a float sold by AGPtEK Mist Maker that does the job with a little modification (it's TOO dumb so you'll have to remove most of the foam). Another detail you need to know before I buy this Mister is that the lifespan of the small fog disk in the center of the device will be DRAMATICALLY reduced if it is operated more than 10 hours a day. I found this the hard way when we ran our first setup 24 hours a day. 7 days a week and it only lasted about 3 months. Buy a digital plug-in timer, set it for just 10 hours a day and you'll get a much longer lifespan. Finally, the black plastic block (rather than steel) seems to be sturdier overall, so this is the block we currently have.
