I've used electric nose hair trimmers in addition to manual ones in the past. Manual ones are good because they don't require electricity and are more portable. This one is slightly larger than other rotary hand trimmers I've used in the past (not a huge issue, but a noticeable difference). The bigger problem is that the blade rotates very little (a slot) when pushed, so it's not very efficient when cutting. It was also a bit "catchy" when I squeezed it, as the compression mechanism would momentarily kick in during the compression action - not too much of a problem, but made some noise and was a little uncomfortable, reflecting the overall quality. Bottom line, it's not as premium as I expected in terms of construction and mechanism efficiency. I would not recommend that.
