These are great for keeping wires right where you want them. My OCD started when I discovered I needed some black clips for a project. I got some black spray paint and they took the color exceptionally well. Adhesion is excellent if you clean and prepare the surface with at least 70% isopropyl alcohol prior to installation. If you either rip them off the wall on purpose, or twist and distort the wires along the line and pin them to perfectly aligned wires, they may not hold up as well as they did the first time. That is the nature of the animal. Don't mess it up and you won't have this problem. If the tape stops sticking a second time, remove the original double-sided tape and wipe the surface with alcohol. Replace it with your own double-sided tape. I'm not ashamed to admit that I also hot glued some of these when I was in need. /yolo
