We use this lamp over the kitchen sink. I was replacing an old LED block that required 6 AAA batteries that had to be replaced about every three weeks. In terms of battery savings, we'll be paying for this thing in a couple of months. The bonus is that it's at least twice as bright as the other and the charge lasts three days there, depending on kitchen traffic. I charge it overnight and the next morning it's ready to use. LOVE IT! February 8, 2021. I went back and downgraded my rating to four stars. Don't get me wrong, I still love it because it suits my needs so well. I've changed my guess because now, after these few months, the internal battery has died. At first I could easily get a few days without a fee. Now it's every day. In fact I'm willing to order another one so we have a charged second light ready to turn on when the other starts dimming. Once it starts to fade, it falls off quickly.
