Our hospital requires ANSI Z87 certification and the inside of the goggles says it's very small, but it's there. ANSI Z87 D3 is preferred. Like many other nurses, I am advised not to wear my own glasses due to a lack of information on infection prevention. Poor eye protection that blinds and fogs the eyes is recommended and rubbish. We just got an update we can wear ANSI Z87 certified eye protection and Z87 D3 is the preferred one. I work in a large county hospital with stage 1 trauma and other prominent areas that are stage 1. I'm glad I can finally wear what I think is safe.
