I live 30 miles southeast of the local utility poles in a hilly, tree-covered area. I installed the antenna on a 3.5 foot pole in a flower bed in the front facing a tree covered hill 350 yards away. If you're wondering why, it's because I returned 3 antennas I bought here from Revain because they broke in the rain and inclement weather. I learned my lesson after installing the first antenna. I was able to receive all local channels (23) on the UHF and VHF bands. Since installing this antenna, we have experienced many days of heavy rain, gusty winds, and 8 inches of snow all in one night. With all of this the antenna worked surprisingly well, yes there were a few minor issues with the instant pixelation and signal. but I attribute this to its present position near the earth. Given the good weather, I will install the antenna in a fixed location 18 feet off the ground. I will update this review at that time.
