Damn cool! This case perfectly fits the iPhone 12 Pro Max as if it was designed by Apple itself, with no Apple tax. I contacted Smartish customer service to resolve the issue and they took care of me as soon as possible. I use the card slot for my driver's license and 2 credit cards (3 cards total). I also folded an invoice with the cards and it still works perfectly. I tried to insert a fourth card, but it was very difficult for me to insert and remove it with or without the bill folded. It has standard protection, ie air pockets or airbags as the manufacturers call them. The sides have an almost sandblasted texture that gives an extra sense of security. In addition, the sides have been contoured to fit your fingers. The front edge is high enough so your screen won't touch the surface you drop it on. The back, which houses the camera, also has enough lip to prevent your camera lenses from getting scratched on the table you place your phone on. Haven't dropped my phone yet but I'm sure it will protect my phone in a normal fall. I don't know how well it will survive a fall from a plane. But with a daily fall I hope he will survive. If you accidentally drop your phone, the card slot is secure enough to prevent your cards from flying out while you're in line at the grocery store.
