Good Visualization Tool to Analyze SQL Server Performance
The visualizations are very helpful for analyzing issues with my sql server instance, however I dislike that it's not an open source product nor free tool like some other tools in this category (if there is one!).
It would be great if dbMarline was more customizable as most users want something customized per their business needs vs off-the shelf options only available within its enterprise version which comes at quite high cost ($500+). For our purposes we needed help identifying slow queries & tables/indexes causing delays but didn't need all features included such reporting or management via GUI etc.. We're able now see where things may have improved over time after using these insights into query execution times compared against previous versions / databases when looking back through years worth data from monitoring logs!
- Good visualization capabilities to easily identify top performance concerns regarding specific SQL Server instances no code required just good old fashioned log file analysis :) Not too much bells n whistles here..just straight forward functionality focused around helping troubleshoot poor performing database servers quickly without having them crash due to memory pressure before you can get anything useful out of your current set up so far..also helps find potential bottlenecks early enough
