Review on Butterfly Double Safety Aluminum Membrane by Angie Johnson

This is my first review of Revain and I am delighted to be able to give such positive feedback on a product! I decided to buy this razor after seeing Rick Harrison's advertisement for the Microtouch razor and feeling nostalgic for my very first razor - my dad's - a long time ago. I must have forgotten they don't even make single blade razors anymore, butterfly razors, but I'm so glad I did a little research and found this one. I was a bit wary given its cheapness and some reviews of this type of razor - some shaving burns, some cuts, especially if you're "too aggressive". But for better or worse I was never very aggressive, so I started out fairly gently with Dorco blades (around $5/$100) and my shave was smooth and very clean. I usually shave after my shower with regular shaving cream and I love how smooth my face and neck look, free of nicks and cuts. The butterfly hole holds the blade securely in place, and the razor is heavy enough not to feel cheap and encourage shaving with a light touch, if that makes sense. For about $20 I now have a great razor and enough blades to last me for years. As for the travel case, it's cheap plastic, but who cares? He holds the razor and stays closed, that's all I need from him. In my opinion this is a great razor and a great gift for any man in your family especially your sons. What a wonderful tradition to pass on to her!
