I ordered 4-5 for my 5.5 year old. She is tall and thin. 43 pounds. They work great but can shrink a bit (55% cotton). I think I could order a size 6 for her and keep her for a lot longer. But they are excellent material for your school uniform. I will order the same brand next time we go bigger.

- Very convenient. This is my second time buying these shorts. Came back for a larger size.
