I’ve always wanted to make a vision board but it seemed too overwhelming and I never figured out how and where to begin. Where, for example would I find the materials I needed? How would I know how arrange them? What if I screwed up and ended up with something ugly or stupid? Yet, I was reluctant to use a kit because I worried that it might not be personal enough. I needn’t have worried about using this kit. While it contains everything you need to make your vision board, it also affords flexibility to express yourself using the deck of vision cards containing photos and/or affirmations included in the kit, to opt to assemble your own photos, clippings from magazines, affirmation cards you’ve purchased elsewhere or made yourself, etc. or some combination of these two options. I liked the affirmation cards in the kit and used several but putting photos of people who are strangers didn’t really appeal to me, although there are also photos that don’t include people and I used some of those along with photos of animals and nature I took myself. The board included with the kit is yours and large enough to do with as you wish. There’s room to put stickers and other embellishments, write very short notes or observations, use calligraphy, doodle, or however else you want to express yourself.
