Update: I've owned this camera for 3 months now and I've never been happier with this technology. It hardly ever took bad shots, and let's face it, no camera can take a great shot 100% of the time, so why the bad reviews? I read them and couldn't understand how this camera is not appreciated, especially at this price point. I've gotten so many compliments on my photos because of this camera that I'm starting to wonder if I should be a photographer lol. But seriously, some of these reviews must be from people who don't know how to work with a camera. For example, my girlfriend tries to take photos and then immediately returns them and says you can do better. After focusing, press it all the way down to take a picture (hold it still). This camera features a two-stage recording. If you just press the button, you'll get a bad shot because it's blurry. Also, it has many different automatic settings like SR Auto, which captures better pictures than the normal capture mode. Also, this kid's feature list is so long that unless you're in the right mode and lighting, there's a bad shot. .For me it takes great shots, I took a photo of my daughter in her baby swing swinging in position 4. At this point I need to time the shot to get it in my field of view. BING! absolutely clear image on a moving target! So how can he take such bad pictures for so many people? I think the guide would be a good place to start looking. Or the supplied CD, which explains how to work with functions that are not included in the manual. First message: I was looking for something to capture precious moments. the lives of our newborns in photography and video. We searched and thought we would take a picture with this FinePix s3200 and having discovered many others we are very happy with our choice. I'm an amateur but this camera is the best I've ever owned, it has instant settings for everything with day and night settings, face tracking, motion stabilization as well as automatic red-eye detection. Not to mention that the zoom is just amazing. I caught a single corn stalk over the top of the field and it focused on that one stalk and blurred the rest for one of the best shots I've ever taken. Not to mention that this camera is something for us ordinary people. this is the right choice if only because it takes great pictures indoors and at night! The flash is great and gives the picture a daytime look. You can't go wrong, batteries, lanyard and lens cap are included and fully factory boxed!
