I am pleasantly surprised at the beauty of this bedspread. I was skeptical because. Well the internet, but it's amazing. The color is exactly what I expected, rich and beautiful. The fabric is very soft and doesn't feel cheap. It is very light but still feels like plush. Mine is king and it hits the ground on all sides, and there's still room at the top to tuck old-school sleeping pillows in like Grandma used to do. I love it! I tried it on the bed before washing it and I think it shrunk a bit in the wash but that was to be expected. I would recommend cold wash and tumble dry low. I expect it will hold up well but for the price and how good it looks/feels if I had to replace it every year it would still be worth it.
